HAC Standards and Processes Reaffirmed by NCFMEA

The U.S. National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation has "reaffirmed that the standards and processes used by HAC to accredit the medical schools in Hungary are comparable to those used to accredit medical schools in the U.S." at least until 2017. The recognition allows students from the U.S. to be eligible for federal student loans. It is also an acknowledgment that the HAC´s procedures are considered sound and reliable. HAC is requested to submit and interim report about its activities in autumn 2013.
